This was my pregnant Starbucks (remind me to tell you about my pregnant bar, too). It's right next to the building entry to the West Suburban Midwives Assoc. office and was very convenient for filling me up for all sorts of unpleasant tests that pregnant women need to fill themselves up with liquid in order to be able to do. The inside is small to average, but the best part of this location is a large outdoor enclosed courtyard that is off the street. Perfect for a nice day, but you don't have to be all up against all of the cars on Lake Street.

Spacious, and they really give you bang for your buck. Just kidding about the 2nd part! They left me a solid inch of empty cup with my iced Chai. Iced drinks are already mostly ice. Don't be cheap; fill it up!

I hate to blast a place but I've been here twice and I've been annoyed by the same person twice. His name starts with and E and he has red hair. He apparently is a the supervisor and feels that his authority is best served ordering customers around. First visit, I had a torn achilles and was in a cast. I ordered my drink and was waiting for it and he admonished me for waiting in the wrong place and when i mentioned my injury he reluctantly brought me my drink to the counter. Then today I brought my therms in for a fill up. They charged me for a vente and poured a vente cup into my thermos. When I asked them to fill it up, he called out that that was what I paid for. I understand this but, I had asked them to fill my thermos and was willing to pay accordingly, which I did. He bellowed "Next time state the exact ounces and well charge you for that." So the place was messy and there were 2 empty half & half containers. Many coffee shops in the area generally fill my thermos up and charge me for a large coffee because 1. they are nice and 2. they don't have to use their paper products. Starbucks is a great place but I'd pass on this one if you see Eric there.

The information I like to get out of a Starbucks is: is there enough room in the cafe. It's a very large comfortable lounging area; in fact, people from Whole Foods next door came in to eat their sushi here without making a purchase which I do not agree with. There are comfortable lounging chairs, high top table and smaller tables as well as a counter top to sit and do your work while enjoying a cup of java.

This is my favorite Starbucks in the Oak Park area. The atmosphere is very quaint, and there is a lovely outdoor patio for the summer. Not usually too crowded and I can almost always find a little two-person table to sit at, even though the inside is small. Fun view of Lake Street. Baristas are quick and professional.

I absolutely love this Starbucks and I've never written a bad review in my life. However, today was a fairly unpleasant visit. I accidentally ordered my boss a caramel iced coffee instead of a caramel macchiato . our office is not even a half a block away from the Starbucks. so i walked back within 5 minutes of ordering. i asked if i could get a refund for a drink that nobody drank and was completely full, nothing happened to it on the walk from Starbucks to my office and back. The cashier said no so i ordered the macchiato anyway. which i thought was ridiculous. i don't see why i should have to pay for a coffee nobody drank. I've had this happen last year and a refund wasn't a problem at the Lake and Harlem location. I'm a college student who could have used those 5$ on my train fair.

Another day, another Starbucks. I love how there is a Starbucks at every corner where I am. We were visiting this area for the first time and looking for a Starbucks. Lucky for us, we found one! The workers here are very friendly and informative. Service was fast and they upgraded my drink from a tall to a grande. I love it!

I like this Starbucks! Well run with friendly staff. I like the outdoor seating - not much room inside through. Good coffee. I had the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich - very good as usual.

Love this Starbucks because it's in my building! Maybe I'm a little biased. ;-)

The service and products were great, but unfortunately, the location is not for me. I hang out at coffee shops to do work on my laptop, so I'm usually out during the workday. This particular Starbucks is very close to a high school, so the high school students come here for lunch. As much as I enjoyed the coffee, I'll probably go to another coffee shop in the area, that's further away from the high school. sorry!

On weekends I walk my dog into Oak Park and stop here for coffee. I don't know, seems like a good place to pick up a cup of coffee. This is my favorite time of Starbuck's year because it's the only time they have pumpkin scones. I love all things pumpkin, except for pumpkin pie. Unless it 's warm and just out of the oven without whipped cream. Then it's ok. Or if it's pumpkin cheesecake pie. I like that. Have you ever had pumpkin soup? Delicious. Anywho...this is a fabulous location for walking your dog to, especially in warmer months when you can sit in their adorable nook/courtyard and call your mom while sipping coffee and feeding your dog some banana and scone crumbs. There is often a line in the morning. Weird, I thought I was the only person who enjoyed coffee in the morning. The employees here are not as diligent about putting out a water bowl for the pups as their sister-store employees up the street. They also never tell me how cute my dog is. I think it's because they have this giant wall in front of the counter where they work that prevents a proper view of the courtyard where I tie her, because no one who sees my dog can resist telling me how cute she is. Perhaps this is also why they neglect the water bowl. They should get rid of that wall. The bathroom here is larger than the area where you have to stand and wait for your coffee.

Ok so this starbucks their not totally there very unpleasnt crowd of employees. Have you noticed that most people who do have jobs now are angry? Is it because they wanna collect unemployment? I'm starting to notice that now every where I go. Any who back to this review. Its very small inside I feel everyones on top of each other. Gets crowded in the morning. I'll walk the distance and go to the one on Harlem.
